Let’s Get Angry! is the Fourth Full Length Album from Dallas based Dead Flowers! Written and Produced by Dead Flowers, recorded in Dripping Springs at Century Recordings with Co-Producer-Engineer Nick Jay who also mixed and played keys on the album. These records were pressed locally by Hand Drawn Record Pressing. Here’s what Jordan Buford thinks:

***”Let’s Get Angry! (available digitally on January 11th) is shaping up to be the most ambitious collection of songs yet from Corey Howe, Vince Tuley, Evan Winston Johnson and James Brock as they pursue a new way forward while still honoring and incorporating the elements that have defined them thus far. One of the singles released in advance of the record, “Bruised, Not Broken”, is a prime example of that.

That second single from Let’s Get Angry! is steeped in the somewhat brash qualities that made Dead Flowers a notable band – particularly in the live environment. A prevalent punk, DIY demeanor and a raw, gritty approach that is so behooving of Dead Flowers’ music to a certain angst that permeates throughout the track, standing out as the driving force behind the piece. On the other hand, it’s a full-blown rock song and arguably the most anthemic number the group has produced. Indeed, “Bruised, Not Broken” could make a sizable impact on the airwaves if the proper forces got behind it.”
